Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee
Members of our Board of Directors are not only long-time members of UFirst, they are your neighbors. Here in the North Country, that means something. They have shown their commitment to the communities in which we serve through education or service. Their diverse backgrounds allow them the opportunity to share their unique viewpoints and expertise in a way that best represents you.
What they do?
One of the most important differences between a credit union and a bank is our member elected, volunteer Board of Directors. These unpaid volunteers are focused on the welfare of their fellow members and the sound operation of the credit union.
Meet the volunteers dedicated to serving you.
We would like to recognize and thank each of our volunteers for their service and commitment in helping to make UFirst such a wonderful credit union.
Board of Directors
“While serving my community as a member of Law Enforcement for 23 years, It seemed normal, when asked, to serve the members of my Credit Union, as a Board member. Now, after more than two decades as a Board member, it has been exciting to see our Credit Union grow and be able to provide our members and the community with a quality of service unmatched in this industry” ~ Peter Zielinksi, Board Chair

Your vote matters for our future.
As a credit union owner and member, you have a voice. Each year, UFirst FCU hosts an Annual Meeting that is open to our entire membership. This is a huge part of what makes credit unions so different from banks. It is at the Annual Meeting that the members get to choose the Volunteer Board of Directors for the credit union, ask questions, voice your opinions, and be involved in making the credit union better. Now what bank lets you do that?! The UFirst Annual Meeting is held every year on the last Wednesday of September, so be sure to mark your calendars!
