Whatever It Takes.
September 3rd, 2020
Hello Friends! We're writing with good news! The Plattsburgh North branch and SUNY Plattsburgh branches will re-open very soon! We have been busy giving our branches a much needed face lift and also prepping them to ensure you can come back in safely.
We continue to pride ourselves on offering a space where members feel welcome and comfortable and we don't want that to change, but we also know we're still not out of the woods yet either. So while we continue to stay vigilant and put the health and well-being of our team, members and community ahead of all other interests, you'll notice some changes when you come to visit, but just know it won't be forever.
We would like to take this opportunity to send you all virtual hugs and thank you for your support of UFirst and our team. We know that our limited hours, branch closures and contacting us via phone has been difficult. It has not been any easy transition for anyone especially our team who have had to work from home with young ones or work in spaces that are not their normal, but we've made it through together and we are so grateful for your patience and unwavering support. Thank you!
Here's what you can expect if you decide to drop by:
If you've been out an about, you've probably noticed that stores and offices have social distancing stickers on the floors, hand sanitizing stations and plexiglass shielding. We too will have those items in place as well as requiring masks to be worn when entering our branches (Our team will be wearing them too!). If you need a mask, one can be provided to you. We ask that you please review the below carefully and help us keep everyone safe by adhering to the safety procedures we currently have in place. It may not be for you, but it is for everyone.
